Workers who were reforming the Palazzo Venezia, in the historic center of Rome have discovered a secret bunker from world war ii, built by Benito Mussolini and the one that is believed to be the last built in the city.
Until now, no one knew of its existence, despite the fact that many inhabitants of the city remember hearing various stories about a secret bunker built in this building.
The bunker is located in the enclosure that housed their offices and from which he delivered some of the most important speeches to his crowds, now converted into the National Museum of Palazzo Venezia.
Here you have a video about its discovery (in Italian).
